Linda, Your drawing overflows with true character and feeling !!!
Linda Nielsen replied:
Wow...no one has commented on Maggie in a long time and it just so happens her tired body has been really challenged in the last 2 weeks, it means a lot that she got recognized today. She is truly a remarkable dog, her strong spirit to live as long as she has in her condition has fooled even the veterinarians...she now is 13. Thanks Brian for your timely and meaningful comment.

Linda, the expression on this beautiful dog's face looks so peaceful and trusting.I have to keep looking back at her!The snowy setting is delicate and unusual and really, this feels very special. I love also the pastel shades you have chosen for this sensitive work. v/f
Linda Nielsen replied:
Your comment is so kind dear Jane. Yes she is a very trusting special dog...she is my heart. I am grateful she is still with me with all this girl has been through. She just made it to her 11th birthday last week....her spirit for loving life teaches me so much. Thanks again Jane.

Well, of course, I had to come visit this work. The love you have for her shines through! v/f
Linda Nielsen replied:
Thanks so much Lenore....I almost lost her yesterday...It is a miracle she is alive after turning blue from complications of a condition called Laryngeal Paralysis. I am so grateful this furry angel is still here....she yet continues to amaze me and teach me about the power of unconditional love....I know her days with me are very short but am grateful for all we share. My "support sources" tell me that the love we share comes back magnified after they pass on ....I don't doubt that one bit. Thanks again.
