Linda, I have always thought gazebos were so pretty. I love the shapes of them. Would like to have one in our yard. Love this. Also I enjoyed reading the description. You took this from the car, I see. Great shot! F/V

Artist's Description

After spending New Year's eve solo my son surprised me on New Year's day with a visit. He didn't even give me a chance to change from my robe and slippers and said, "Mom get in the car we are going for a short drive, it's a nice day. Yes and the sky was even blue for this time of year in the Pacific NW. This photo shows Mount Baker in the distance beyond the blue waters of the Strait of Juan De Fuca....I love the gazebo and driftwood too....it could of been a better shot but I took it out the car window....was afraid to step out in a robe, nightgown and slippers. So grateful he came by because it gave me a new perspective for the new year.

About Linda Nielsen

Linda Nielsen

God's world around me, it's people, my loved ones, my dear friends, other artists, teachers, music, poetry, stories, other cultures, nature, my "special need" animals I care for, these are just the tip of what inspires me to create works of art. I believe my art is a venue my Creator gave me to share expressions from my heart and soul. I hope these pictorial expressions will some how be able to touch the heart and soul of the observer as well. Thankyou for stopping by. "ART IS NOT ABOUT THE ARTIST. ART IS ABOUT WHY THE ARTIST PAINTS" --- Glen Wesman The expressions of our soul come from the visual language we speak on canvas. --- LN --------------------- I consider my self an eclectic artist and will paint on anything...
