Description
Although I have been blessed with my own flesh and blood son and
daughter which I have done a portrait each of (featured on my site) I
needed to add my "adopted" son from Bangladesh who was one of
the first I have met here on FAA. I refer to him as Kaiser aka Amjad
Hossain and he refers to me as Aunt. I have learned and gained much by knowing this young man and aspiring artist....no matter where we are born, whatever our culture, religion, race, or whatever our struggles may be, none of these differences should keep us from the blessing of weaving the web of friendship and unconditional love around the world...God's beautiful world.

What a soulful, insightful and moving portrait and description! You are so right about the joy of friendship across the world. As a teen my parents encouraged me to send letters to many countries -- some I'd barely heard of -- and the friends I made and the knowledge and inspiration they gave to me I have always treasured.
